Antahkarana International Newsletter

Dear Friends of Antahkarana,

As the year comes to a close I want to remind you that there are just two days left to support the precious Tibetan communities of the Himalayas and have your contribution count as a year-end tax deduction.

For those of you who have already responded thank you so much. We are eternally grateful. Your contributions make it possible to provide extraordinary opportunities to a group of largely forgotten Tibetans.  Just this week the Dalai Lama reminded the world how important it is to preserve Tibetan Buddhist culture because it has so much to offer the world. Antahkarana is deeply involved in just that work.  Your contributions eradicate poverty, build schools, provide food and clothing to children and employment to village youth and elders who teach in our schools and manage our village projects. Please take a moment to donate now.  Even a small gift can make a big difference and a small gift given each month can make a huge difference.

While the world is largely aware of the Tibetan refugee problems served by other organizations, few people in the world even know about the indigenous Tibetans we serve in their native villages of the Himalayas. Only with the education and revitalizing programs we provide will these villages endure and advance into the 21st century with their traditions and deep spiritual commitments intact.

I look forward to working with you in the coming year to continue this important work. As always I am grateful for the compassion you show for Tibetans in great need. May 2010 be filled with good fortune for you. By all means pass this letter on to your friends.

Most sincerely,
